Responsibilities
• As a New Business Executive for our 5Y Data & AI Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our company's business.
• You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new business opportunities within the target market segments.
• Your primary focus will be on understanding client needs, proposing tailored solutions, and effectively communicating the value proposition to potential clients.
• This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales acumen. Experience in Data Analytics, Microsoft Azure or ERP / Finance Solutions Sales would be an advantage.
Skillset Required (or demonstration of similar skills that can be transferred):
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
• Identify and prioritize target accounts and industries for new business development.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers.
• Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and other channels.
Client Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.
• Understand client needs and pain points related to Data Analytics and AI.
• Conduct consultative sales meetings to assess client requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
Solution Proposal and Presentation:
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
• Create compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
• Effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings.
Negotiation and Closing:
• Drive the negotiation process to secure favourable terms and agreements.
• Work closely with the legal team to finalize contracts and agreements.
• Close new business deals in a timely manner while achieving sales targets.
Sales Pipeline Management:
• Manage and update sales pipeline and CRM system regularly.
• Track progress against sales targets and provide regular reports to management.
• Continuously identify opportunities for pipeline growth and optimisation.
Market Intelligence:
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
• Utilize market intelligence to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Desirable Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the technology or software industry.
• Good understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence concepts.
• ERP / Finance System Sales Experience would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels of an organization.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
